Metro B is the simplest way to reach central Rome from the apartment.
Quintiliani Metro B is roughly 400 metres from the Via Filippo Meda area. It is closer than Monti Tiburtini and should be your first choice for most journeys.
To central Rome: direction LAURENTINAFrom Termini, Colosseo or stations farther south, take Metro B towards Rebibbia and get off at Quintiliani.
Monti Tiburtini is a useful backup station, but it is farther from the apartment.

For all four destinations below, board at Quintiliani towards Laurentina.
Metro B directly to Colosseo — 7 stops. The Colosseum is immediately outside the station.
Allow several hours for the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill. Reserve timed admission through official channels.

At Termini change to Metro A towards Battistini. Exit at Barberini — 2 stops — then walk 8–10 minutes.
Early morning and later evening are usually calmer. Keep valuables close in crowded areas.

Departure planning
Allow extra time for walking, waiting and any service disruption—especially for an early flight.
Public transport: Metro B from Quintiliani towards Laurentina to Tiburtina FS — 1 stop. Follow the railway signs and take a direct FL1 regional train to Fiumicino Aeroporto.
Allow roughly 65–80 minutes in total, depending on the connection. The FL1 train requires a separate Trenitalia ticket; an ATAC ticket is not valid on this airport rail journey.
